It could be an Oriental Poppy ??? but looks like a wide open tulip to me ,too.

Nice variation on the standard poppy shot, focusing on the subtle details in 
the petal rather than the stamens/pistils (I don't know which) in the center.  
It does look a lot redder than the standard California golden poppy, is that 
from the flower, or your processing?
