This sort of thing makes me want to puke in my cornflakes. The first one is an advertising company stealing someone else's idea - which advertising companies do with great frequency - to try and sell their own goods and services, which have fuck all to do with helping the needy and everything to do with foisting more crap on the world.
The original is sentimental crap unless they can actually show that real people really have done this sort of thing in the real world and it really has brought in more money for a beggar. In any case, he's still begging. It would be more effective to use their so-called powerful words to do something that means people don't have to sit on the streets begging in the first place.
