I had no money withheld from my two pensions and Social Security. For 2009 I
sent them $42. A few days later I received a IRS check for $42… No explanation
accompanied it.

This year, I owed them $3.00. I also checked the box stating I never received
my $250 "enablement" from the Pres. Less than a week later, $247 appeared in my
checking account. I was pleased.

I've noticed for the last five years or so the new computers the IRS must have
gotten have immensely speeded up the process of paying taxes.

I'm happy for you Mark. Anything of mine you may want to trade dollars for?
Just ask!
