Very nice capture, just wish the background was a touch less prominent.
Inclusion of the fence is a real plus IMO.

First one of these I've seen perched on anything in our yard. Per my Field
Guide, it's a California Quail. I might have guessed that.
We have a Finch feeder on a garden-poll just to the right. It's obvious
we've seen many downloading their thistle seed residue on said fence.
