Need your opinion... A guy I know wanted a Spotmatic and either a 55mm f1.8 Tak or a 50mm f1.4 Tak with case. He's willing to spend $100 tops including shipping, to a foreign country. Shipping is going to run about $27, leaving $73 for the Spotmatic and lens. No way is a 50mm f1.4 being included at that price. Looking through my film bodies, I discovered that I have a gorgeous Asahi Pentax SPII and Asahi Pentax case in very nice condition. I also have a minty S-M-C 55mm f1.8. The problem is that in playing with it I can't hardly stand the thought of parting with it, particularly at that price.
I have lesser Honeywell Pentax Spotmatics and I could put a Super Takumar 55mm f2.0 on it that I would part with for that kind of money, but it just seems that this SPII is too fine a camera (and lens) to let go that cheaply.
