I recently got a gig writing for an online photography blog.

The process has been frustrating, to say the least. Over the past week or so,
the editor has been complaining that my embedded product links aren't working.
I had a couple of very basic problems with wordpress, but got them sorted out,
and he kept saying that they aren't working. I finally realized that what he
wanted, was to have the links embedded in the codenifty piece of kit and not the link at the bottom
of the page, where I'd look for it if I wanted to track it down.

When I asked him about the style guide listing aperture in the format F/2.8
rather than the more common f/2.8 he said that was how he learned it at a
previous website. I did a quick google search of that website, and for the
most part they use lower case.

He had also complained about my interspersing my replies with his mail, rather
than top posting, and the fact that I'd trim the old replies from my mail.

This is going to be interesting.
