I also use the Clarity to support Noise Reduction. If I have to use very
strong Luminance NR then I use high value for Clarity to get back some
details. To show you the difference I just put up an example on my blog (

Luminance and chroma NR of LR3 should render those usable.
Thanks, Thibouille, and Bruce to. These were pretty messy images, but
these tweaks helped a bit.
In exporting for uploading I selected the "sharpen for screen" option.
Don't have much hope that it will help much, but even a little would be
nice in this case.
