A few decades ago there was this guy in Toronto who played Elvis on the subway. He called himself "Subway Elvis". Here's a story on him:

Didn't get his photo, but did manage to follow him onto a subway car, where I took this photo: http://knarfinthecity.blogspot.com/2011/05/elvis-has-left-station.html The photo made me think of Subway Elvis, hence the title.
