I am going to make a very harsh and direct comment, but I hope you take
it in the spirit I mean it.

These photos are awful.  They lack decent tonality, with a clear lack of
good mid tones, highlights are burnt out and blocked, shadow detail is
almost nonexistent ... perhaps you're having problems scanning, but I
think not, since I've seen some of your color shots, which were fine.  I
suspect you really need to refine your processing and printing
techniques with B&W.

I've been holding my tongue whenever you post your B&W work, but upon
reflection, I feel some direct, honest comment about the quality of the
photos you're posting here is warranted.
