Thanks Jim! I'm seriously both surprised and delighted with the GXR ... It was without a doubt a "dark horse" pick, but it is amazingly competent. The control ergonomics are superb and the A12 28mm is excellent. I have come to the conclusion that I also need the A12 50mm ... 28 is a bit too wide a good bit of the time for me, wish there was the equivalent A12 40mm camera module available. No real matter there ... a good normal that also has macro capability is a good lens. I've already got the GXR's VF-2 EVF (very nice quality) but found an old Leica 5cm brightline finder too because I like working with the optical viewfinder so much. It's nice to have a true compact available again. It's been years since I had one that worked as well as this, the last compact camera I had that did the job right is my Rollei 35S. -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
