Nope. But you can do the mirror lock-up trick* and then use the self-timer to
take the shot. This is how I usually do it becaus I often don't have a cable
release handy.

*The mirror lock-up trick works on the MX, and the KM/KX/K1000: If you flick
your finger down/against the shutter releast just right, you'll trip the mirror
mechanism but not the shutter. Then you can push the shutter release down all
the way to take the shot. Practice without any film in the camera and you can
get pretty good at it.
