Yes it is.
My usual stop-for-the-night point on the BRP on my way to Grandfather
Mountain is a little ways south of there, at the Peaks of Otter. Not
as spectacular as some of the North Carolina sections of the BRP, but
that stretch of road is very nice nonetheless.

It just kind of bothers me sometimes when people forget that the Blue
Ridge Parkway runs through both states. Don't know why. It's not really
that important in the overall scheme of the universe, but it does.
