Hello all.

Our back yard bluejays have returned and i have started their yearly
photo shoot. From Monday, day was heavy overcast, ISO set to 1600 and
AF360 for fill at -0.5 EV.

K10D and D FA 50-200 hand held with SR on.

I prefocus on the peanuts at 200mm then pull back a bit to include the
fence, and then wait for them to fly out of the tree just out of
camera range to the right, and when i see him/her in front of the
fence, i hit the shutter. I don't use the view finder, just sit back
and take the whole scene in, i get better results this way. Its a bit
soft, but i think its ok for the first one of the year.
