Meter accuracy. Accuracy of ISO adjustments. Accuracy lens aperture set measurement. Accuracy of lens aperture set (shutter priority and other programmed modes). Flash sync operation and timing.
If you use fast lenses wide open at close range, or if you do macro work, you may want better than specification accuracy on the light path (flange, film plane, mirror placement and orientation and screen position and orientation.) This all sounds like a complete CLA by an expert with the appropriate tools and alignment measurement equipment. Regards, Bob... -------------------- "Let us contemplate our forefathers, and posterity, and resolve to maintain the rights bequeathed to us from the former, for the sake of the latter. The necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude, and perseverance. Let us remember that 'if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom.' It is a very serious consideration that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event." - Samuel Adams, 1771 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shel Belinkoff" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Pentax List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, February 23, 2002 10:41 PM Subject: Adjusting Camera Tolerances > I was thinking that I'd like to be sure some of my cameras are well > within tolerance.
