Hey, why not? If Sony tried going it big chasing the FF market, then
the only way to out-do them is going for the MF market, right?

Is 36x36 really medium format, though? The old Hassies were 56x56
IIRC. This is just a non-portrait orientation FF sensor. On the plus
side, if the Samsung camera really is mirrorless and the registration
distance is small enough, we'll be able to use legacy FF lenses on it
via an adapter. The wide angles might vignette, but the longer focal
lengths should be OK.

I'd like to dream, cos if there's something missing in digital
photography from the big camera companies it's dreams.
