The problem in this case was a huge mobile sign advertising a chicken
BBQ.  Also, Given the FOV of my lens, I'd be standing in traffic.

It is a curiously common response, however.  My interest is in the
pump and the old machinery.  Some want to see the building as well.
The problem is that including the building makes the pump a very minor
part of the shot.  Clearly, this needs to be a mini-gallery.
