I wasn't doing a direct comparison however from what I remember I was 
favorably impressed
with the Nikon view finder thinking it was more like an MX/ME or LX 
viewfinder rather than
the ZX-M finder.  Then again as I said you're paying 4X as much for the 
Nikon over the ZX-M.
