Thought I'd share this with the class. I stumbled across this set (not mine) while researching the (very hard to find) Olympus IS/L A-Life Size H.Q. Converter. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jimmy74/sets/72157605593657170/detail/
I was very pleased to actually find one of these 3 element achromats (7.7 diopters) which attach to 49mm filter size. It is on its way to the UPS truck as I type this. I'm interested in trying it on all manner of 49mm filter sized lenses. The extraordinarily shallow depth of field doesn't work in all cases, but when it does it renders nearly abstract works of art (IMHO). Part of this kit also included the very well-regarded .8x and 1.5x Olympus IS/L converters, and another 2.5 diopter Olympus IS/L A-macro, which should also make for some fun testing.
