A hot dog is of course a frankfurter; soda is any carbonated soft drink, like Coke, Pepsi, 7-Up, etc; Snapple is a brand of overpriced iced tea and fruit flavored drinks; Gatorade is an overpriced "sports" drink, for "hydration"; a pretzel is a sausage (banger) in soft pretzel dough instead of a bun or roll; water is what people other than Brits use to bathe in. <G>
