Uh, if you're implying what I think you're implying, well I don't know about J. Edgar specifically, but in general there's no statistical correlation between the two behaviours. (Neither a negative correlation nor a positive one, as it turns out.) When I was younger, before I found out that the two aren't linked, the cultural stereotypes involved confused the heck out of me.
