When I went home for lunch today, there was a note stuck to my mailbox with frozen spit, indicating that Purolator Courier was holding a parcel for me. I went to pick it up after work. It is a very nice SMC Pentax 165mm f/4 LS lens for the 6x7. When I got home, I noted a box had been stuffed between the back doors of my house. Canada Post had decided to abandon my K-mount bellows and slide duplicator on my back doorstep. When I went around to the front of the house, there was another small box abandoned on the front step. This turned out to be the FD-1 viewfinder attachment that I won on Ebay last week. I am glad I live in a low traffic and honest neighborhood. I am disturbed that Canada Post has decided to try to compete with United Parcel Service for the stupid driver award. They left about 500 bucks in equipment just sitting outside in -25�C weather, where anyone could have walked off with it. I must specify signature required for delivery in the future.
