Tell the lab to stop cutting the film until after you have seen
it, for starts.

Now, take the film in question out of the sleeves and line the
cut strips up end to end in sequence and see if you can make a
whole film out of it.
Check to make sure the frame numbers are an even distance apart.
If you can, check the frame spacing.
Ummm, I know nothing about this camera, so I have a few
questions.
I know that it does data imprinting outside the frame. Where
exactly does it put this data?
Do you have the data writer turned on with the problem films?
Have you asked the people at the lab? Challenge them to tell you
what the problem is. After all, it is their prints with black
lines.
I would tend to look at the lab first, if the film checks out,
it has to be the lab.
