Thanks Stan and the reason I wanted to remove them weren't per say that they
are gross the flies that is but more that they attract attention away from
the fawn. I am glad you didn't step on the fawn. 

If the weather will allow I am wanting to get back over to Radnor Lake again
early Saturday morning to see if I can get some better captures of the fawn.

I can see why you asked about the flies  etc., they are pretty gross. 
The thing I prefer about this is that you don't have the eyes so centered in
the frame; and you've shown enough of the context that I can tell that the
fawn is lying down. 

The little buggers are cute aren't they! I almost stepped on one the other
day while playing golf. Errant shot off to the edge of the woods, I went
looking, found the little guy. Of course no camera with me, not even my
phone.
