Yep. Having been at our last win against the US and then a couple of pretty bad losses, I was just a little nervous. No work was done at the store for those two hours on Thursday and again on Sunday for the men's game. In fact, I can barely talk right now, because Vanessa and I ran all the way from Lawrence to Eglinton on Yonge Street and back again, shouting at the top of our lungs. There was toilet paper everywhere, and the traffic was absolutely stopped, but most people were on top of their cars cheering anyways. I don't think I've given as many high-fives or shaken as many hands as I did on Sunday night. And that is why I am reading messages from Sunday still on Tuesday morning. :) Unfortunately, a flukey bounce off of the boards ended up in Vanessa's team being eliminated in Provincials on Saturday. The only upside was that she therefore got to see the men's game -- had they won, they would have been on the ice! -Aaron p.s. GO JAROME IGINLA! Nobody believed that you'd produce in the Olympics, but you showed 'em! GO CHERIE PIPER! You had to prove that you deserved your spot on the team after they cut Drolet, and you did, and way more! The Canadian media took a strip off of you guys, and boy did you ever make them look stupid. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
