Sorry, but your description is not very clear.

Do you mean - if you load it in a browser running on the same
computer/server it works, but if you load it in a browser from a
different (external) computer, - it won't work? Or something different?

If it is what I described, - check the file permissions on the file
and on the directory (directory tree) where it resigns.
It should be at least "r"eadable for the files, and at least e"x"ecutable 
for the directories (folders).

If you meant something different, - then, please, explain.
