Looks interesting although you could probably do something similar using
any photo editing software that supports layers.  Load the images into
separate layers in the one file, selectively mask appropriate parts of
each layer and play with the layer opacities.  It probably wouldn't give
exactly the same effects but it could go close - but it would involve a
lot more work.
