The high-grade and super-high-grade Olympus SLR lenses are like that too. Solid feel, smooth in operation, rugged and precise. Weather-sealed too. The high-grade lenses start at around $500 or so, the super-high-grade around $1300. The all-mechanical helicoid focusing mount in the Zeiss, Voigtländer and Leica manual focus lenses feel even better if you prefer manual focusing. -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
