Pentax has apparently done something wrong, as has Apple. Neither have been able to maintain product in Costco. I used to be able to check out models like the *ist-D at Costco. Then I could only find P&S Pentax models on their camera kiosk. Now there is nothing from Pentax to be found. Apple followed the same trend some years ago, when their laptops were right next to HP & Dell. For less than a year. I was told by Costco that they could not get Apple's (or Pentax's) products at a low enough cost. And/or Apple (or Pentax) wouldn't work with us on pricing like Nikon and Kanon and Kodak will. Joseph McAllister [email protected] I couldn't remember most of what I know today if it weren't for others sharing their knowledge of my past on the Internet.
