hi, if you look at the photos starting with cleveland-6pm at this link
http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~nitin/tmp the sky is deep blue but its grainy. I was told this is because of underexposure of the sky. I didnt do any exp compensation IIRR or overexposed. The camera has center-weighter metering and the focus region is on the tower so even the meter would be on the overexposure side for the skies. So what is causing this or am i wrong in assuming that the sky would need shorter exposure time than the tower for correct exposure ? thanks, nitin - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
