I don't replenish. Seems too much expense in a hobbyist's darkroom.
I reuse from the 1/2 gal. developer about 10x & then dispose. That's enough to allow
for (a) a good, strong, pretty-clean developer in the tank and (b) enough precipitaion
of mater in the jug so that each development is consistent. Beyond 10x I've found too
much precipitation in the jug to trust any more development.
I've found that controlled reuse and adequate dilution in the jug gives me consistent
results without having to dispose of it after every use.
This is with D-76, 50% with rolls, 50% with sheet film.
I don't know how other developers will behave with this scenario. My next step is to
find a good working practice with HC-110.
I think it's safe to assume that each jug-brand of developer will behave a bit
differently, and I'm not going to assume anything about its behavior. So over time a
practice will develop for each developer used.

If you want consistent results, use the developer as a one-shot. A good
technique is to only mix what will be used for a few days, use it once,
and get rid of it. I don't understand why the home darkroom user wants
to fiddle about with replenishment or reuse of developer solution and
risk inconsistent results.
You made no mention of replenishment in your message, BTW. Do you just
reuse the developer and add some additional time to compensate for
depletion?
