In line with Ann's comments, I have to admit to feeling that it is more than a little incongruous seeing Native Americans waving the American flag. Probably similar to the way I would feel if Germany had won WWII and left a remnant of Jewish people survive and then a century later I saw a parade of Jewish people waving the Nazi flag.
