We've got people from a wide range of cultures on this list, and there are a lot of folks with names that I can only guess at the pronunciation. Names which may be common in one culture are pretty rare in Central California.
I haven't heard much variation in the pronunciation of Larry, but the two common mistakes are to misread Colen as Cohen, or to pronounce it the way everyone but Colin Powell pronounces Colin. It's pronounced like Cohen, but with an "L" rather than an "H": Koe-len. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
