(not to gloat, but) it hit 98 here in Denver, yet the monsoon has lifted for a couple of days and with only 13% relative humidity the heat index is a negative adjustment and it's no sweat for my small swamp cooler to keep the house in the mid-70s
there's a huge music festival (350 artists) down the block all weekend so we'll be out in the heat, drinking lots of water plus some beer; last year i tried to photograph mostly bicycles but wasn't thrilled with my results, not sure what i'll focus on this time
