Well don't spoil him too much. Malamutes are pretty willful to begin
with, and while I've never seen a vicious malamute, I will tell you it's
kind of like owning a large dog shaped cat from an obedience
standpoint. If you don't impress upon him who's boss early, he'll only
obey you when he wants to, which won't be often, and they are very
strong, so out muscling him will be fun to say the least.
