I have an Mz-S and two Pz-1p's. The Mz-S is definitely worth the upgrade,
IMO - you get vastly superior AF, with the AF360FGZ you get a much better
flash system, and the ergonomics and build quality are also excellent. I
really enjoy using the Mz-S more than any other camera I've tried - the
ergonomics just flow.

I've hung on to my Pz-1p's and still use them regularly. The backup body
that is always in the bag is generally loaded with B&W film and get's used
regularly. The second Pz-1p is on my birding rig - A* 400 f2.8 with the
1.7x AF converter. In the latter case, I use fill flash for birds and the
AF360 just does not have the power needed - the AF500FTZ does. But, if I
had an autofocus lens, I'd probably just switch to manual flash for fill
and use the Mz-S. (The AF adapter only activates the center AF sensor on
the Mz-S, so you don't get the enhanced AF of the Mz-S with it.)

I sold off my Pz-20 and Pz-70 when the Mz-S arrived. The Pz-1p is a very
competent camera and makes a fine backup to the Mz-S, mostly because the
cameras are so totally different that you can move back and forth between
them without getting confused. It seems that when you have two cameras
with similar but slightly different controls, it's more difficult to move
between them.
