I lke the tight shot better , too.. and partly because of the color tones in the boat.. The longer shot would probably be nicer in BW - maybe.. sorta kinda

both nice, but I think I prefer the first - it has a more relaxed and
intimate feel. Perhaps a b&w treatment to reduce the dominance of the green
foreground, and something to bring a touch more out of the mid-tones around
the figures.
