We were there yesterday. I called him up at the end of last week and
suggeated a quick trip to Yosemite, as the warm weather and the heavy
snowpack were combining to produce some pretty good waterfalls even
this late in the year. The best fit in our schedules was for us to
make it at the end of the week. I wanted to spread the 500+ miles of
driving over two days, so we drove out to the area on Thursday (with
a few stops in gold country), spent Friday in Yosemite itself, and
drove back on Friday night.
I'm sure Larry has a whole load of additional images to show. I've
got one or two myself, as well :-)
Here's almost my last shot of the trip:

A gallery of a few other images from the two days can be found here:

(it's a work-in-progress; I'm adding descriptive captions, navigation,
etc., and I'll probably add one or two more images to the ones there)
As the eagle-eyed amongst you might have spotted, that does indeed
say "K-5" in the image details above. That was the nominal excuse
for a photo excursion (not that you really need an excuse to visit
Yosemite!). In preparation for my forthcoming vist to New England
my *ist-D and K10D now have a new friend to keep them company. And
to prevent my DA* 16-50 and 50-135 getting jealous, they got a new
friend as well - there's now a 60-250 in the camera bag.
My first impressions are that all the good things I've heard about
both the body and the lens seem to be well and truly deserved.
