A or K? With A lenses of course you lose autofocus, and for AS to work properly the focal length of the lens when the image is captured, for best results. Which makes A zoom lenses less than optimal using AS. Of course that's also true for the original K mount zoom lenses as well, except you also lose open aperture metering.
