Glad you liked it. I played with a G3 for the first time just the other day. It's a very interesting development from my G1 ... smaller in the hand, tighter feeling, etc. Kind of a melding of the GF1 and G1 models in my experience. I expect it is a very good camera, and now there is a very nice range of native Micro-FourThirds prime lenses to work with it (12/2, 14/2.5, 18/2.8, 20/1.7, 25/1.4, 45/2.8 Macro, and 45/1.8) and a good range of zooms from both Olympus and Panasonic, never mind its ability to use nearly any other lens via adaptation. The interchangeable lens, all electronic digital camera age is upon us. I know no one agrees on what to call this new camera category with half a dozen acronyms like EVIL, MILC, etc, but I call it "Lens Interchangeable - Viewfinder Electronic" or LIVE. -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
