Yes, different editions seem to vary. My edition of the AF280T manual does mention the use of the MEF and ME Super (and the PDF file version that was made available by Frits and Bob S. mentions them and the MG, MV, and MV-1, as well). In any event, for the ME Super: Flash Modes - Two-level Auto, Two-level MS, M. Automatic Sync - At 1/125 sec., with shutter mode dial set to AUTO or M. Manual Sync - At "125 X" setting of shutter mode dial. Flash Ready Indication - 1. LED lamp inside viewfinder. 2. Flash ready lamp on flash unit. Auto Flash Check - Auto check lamp on flash unit.
