This is a good article about "these (repulsive) people":
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/10/11/1034222596319.html

One of B.U.G.A. U.P.'s founders, Dr Arthur Chesterfield-Evans, became
a respected member of the New South Wales Legislative Council, the
upper chamber of our state parliament.

Another B.U.G.A. U.P. founder, Lord Bloody Wog Rolo (Rolo Mestman
Tapier), was a hugely interesting man of undeniable integrity.
Australia is a less colourful place since his passing.

The third founder doesn't have a Wikipedia page devoted to him, but
that doesn't matter to me because I knew him as a professional
colleague and workmate. Ric Bolzan is anything but repulsive.

When B.U.G.A. U.P. began Australia had not long banned tobacco
advertising on TV. The tobacco industry had then swung their huge
advertising budgets across to public space advertising and sports
sponsorships, with the effect that more children than ever were being
exposed to the culture of tobacco. B.U.G.A. U.P. put the counter view
into the public eye. Make of that what you will, but Australians love
a larrikin, and they loved B.U.G.A. U.P.'s pranks.

regards, Anthony
