That is, roads with a fault running under them.

On Saturday we took a trip out to the Greendale fault, source of the 4th 
September 2010 earthquake (the 7.1 one that started everything).

This fault is only about 15 mins drive out of town but you need to know where 
you're going to find it.  We went around a few roads so there are 3 different 
locations covered here.

Apparently this particular fault has set a record due to the amount of 
displacement compared to its length (about 4.5 metres at its maximum for a 40km 
rupture).
