G'day all Just dropping by from Griffith in country New South Wales, on our way home after about 4 weeks away.
Some of you may know that a flight over Lake Eyre in outback South Australia was one of the highlights of our trip. We had been inspired to take the flight after seeing a TV program (and subsequent DVD) compiled by the Australian public broadcaster man team (ABC). The program had been put together by a 3 man team in 2010 and just recently the same team was back at the Lake to film a follow up story. Sadly, the helicopter in which they were travelling crashed last Thursday at the Lake. All three were killed.
