I am still figuring out what software to use to exploit the info, there are some nice plug-ins for Lightroom that deal with geotagging, like adding location information (street, city etc) to the bare coordinates and also to search images within some distance from a given point. Another thing to find out is how to incorporate this in a web-gallery, with the possibility to clock through to google-maps or something. And perhaps also display a map, with thumbnails for each photo location.
