Well, yes, I do believe that she's been to Italy, and a young American photographer that she met there took a few snaps of her walking about. ;-) Her name was "Jinx" Allen and her new-found friend was Ruth Orkin and the photo is American Girl in Italy: http://www.bulgergallery.com/dynamic/fr_exhibit_invitations.asp?ExhibitID=228 The subject is now known as NinaLee Craig and she lives in Toronto. Orkin's daughter, Mary Engel was also present. I chatted very briefly with each of them, and both are lovely and gracious. There were a couple of films and a nice little reception - all in all a wonderful, memorable afternoon. I didn't get many good photos, but I'll post a few later. Thanks to all for the nice words for the photo of Ms. Craig. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
