Good to hear from you again, Marnie!
The photo looks like the root system of a palm, or similar, after the
trunk has been
removed. Those beggars spread far and wide .

Good guess. Actually, I think it's the stump of a removed fence post. I
was actually more curious if someone could guess what all the hair is. :-)

Thanks for the welcome back, John.

Very nice. I like the composition and the use of depth of field.

Thanks, Marnie aka Doe :-)

Had a friend over recently and took him out shooting. First time I've
really shot in
about eight months (and there was only one time previously in the last
year).

Felt good to get behind a camera again. Really good.

Anyway, I sort of liked this one. I have others from another angle,
without the green,
but thought this one flowed.

Yes, I am bacccccckkkkk!

(Well, I hope so. I think so. I think pretty permanently this time. I
think everything
grabbing my attention has now calmed down to a dull roar.
OTOH, I can't swear to that... yet. Maybe that will only happen in a week
or two or
three. So I am declaring I am most likely, highly probably, almost
certainly, 95-99%,
back.)
