Oh, I'm sure the NSA and friends keep half an electronic eye on my witterings.
I'm a foreign national, resident in the USA, so I call (and travel to) Europe
more than the average US national.  I'm also in their security database, as I
was vetted for working as a consultant on a handful of government contracts at
Mitre, Lockheed/Sanders and Lawrence Livermore.  Nothing anywhere near as
classified as the stuff you worked on, but at the level where the fact that
my passport was issued by the UK was an important factor.
I was also vetted in the UK when a close university friend of mine got a job
working at Northolt providing intelligence data to SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters,
Allied Powers, Europe) - I'm sure the NSA got a copy of that vetting, too.
