Irene really hit the Connecticut shoreline hard as far as the Power Grid

I don't blame them much but it's a trade off. Trees that knock out the
power in a less than horrible storm, (which is still pretty unlikely),
or reliable power. Irene had 65 mph winds when she reached Connecticut
but still knocked out more of the Power Grid than storms with 100 mph
winds have in the past. Storm surge did destroy a lot of expensive
landscaping and washed out a few roads however. I'll be off line mostly
until the power is back looks like a 4 more days to a week of being
powerless. In the meantime here's a PESO I apologize in advance for the
quality. I missed a bit the focus and processed it on my laptop. Hope
some of you get the pun.

As usual comments are welcome but may be totally ignored.

Phew! He lives!
Glad to see you were able to go some where to post this --
looking at that power grid map last night told me you were
not likely to have power - wondered if you fled to more powerful ground. (lots of puns to go with yours)

Nice (?) shot -- nice doesn't seem right somehow...hope
the power outage didn't mess up your food supply too much.

At least it provided an outlet for your creative side

Anticipate more photos from your sector when things
get more or less back to normal. stay safe.
