I wrote my congressman and my senator, Patty Muray, about this Tuesday night. No reply as of the time you receive this message. I cannot tell you anything about the sneakers. I read somewhere a few years ago that gangs and gang wannabe groups mark their turf with appropriate shoe colors. The most difficult items to overcome to bury utilities are; getting all local and national companies to agree on where and how to do it. I'd prefer to see a separate entity be in charge of the project, with laws passed ti prevent the blockage of it's moving forward. The more resistance a company or agency bitches in trying to be left out, the higher percentage of the cost it put to them. There is much more, but it's friggin late, and I'm soon to be abed.
