I know i have mentioned in the past, and shown a few photos of the old
farm house liz and I lived in from 1980-1983. It was sold for
development in 2005 and now has a full compliment of town houses on
the east side of the crick and will have an auto mall on the west side
of the crick to hwy 48. Just so happens Liz needed to buy a new car(
well used actually) and in an internet search found a 2005 Hyundai
Elantra GT for sale at the new Hyundai dealer on the old farm
property. Test drove and bought it Aug 26 and picked it up Aug 31.
The owner came out to greet us after the cheque was handed over, and i
commented on how weird it felt buying a car from the property we used
to live on. He asked what that meat and told him we lived in the farm
house behind the dealership for 4 years before buying a place in town,
and also told him of the history and ghost tales from our time there.
He was intrigued and told me he may contact us in the future about the
house. He has plans after the rest of the dealerships are built to
turn the old house into a fine dining place, which i was glad to hear,
as i was afraid it would be torn down.

Just thought i would share, i know we have some photographers that
like old buildings.
